The Daily Decision-24-Framing effect
Hello Hello This is Dr. Z, Zachary Brooks, with The Daily Decision
because you want to make better decisions.
Today is the TWENTY-FOURTH episode of The Daily Decision
Which product are you more likely to buy?
A: The product has been proven effective in 80% cases.
B: The product has failed to work on 2 out of every 10 cases.
If you’re like most people you will select A.
Why? Because of the framing effect.
Even though statement A and B contain identical information, you’ll chose the positive framing.
The framing effect is drawing different conclusions from the same information, depending on how that information is presented.
Think about the self-talk in your own life, you know that voice inside your head.
Do you frame your daily struggles in a positive or negative light? Try both and see which one you choose and see which one compels you to act.
